rehabME INTENSIVE COLLECTIVE
The first week of the rehabME IC has been a tremendous success. We are a group of therapists that have come together and joined their abilities and fortes to help children with special needs to find their full potential. A combination of physiotherapy, OT, speech therapy, structural integration and massage is on offer, and parents can choose up to four of the modalities for their child. The rehabMe IC runs for three weeks, and the kids will see the same therapist every day. And let me tell you, we have watched miracles happen already. Obviously my part is massage, and the kids I am seeing love every minute of their massage time, from wide eyed and excited to just super relaxed and fast asleep. Another two weeks to come, and I can’t wait to see, and tell you all, what we will achieve. Those kids rock!
